Description

The final plotted image should not be normalized.
Currently the maximum value of each localization is equal to the given intensity, possibly it makes more sense to set the integrated value to the intensity.

Research direction

Start by locating the storm-rendering code and its Gaussian normalization logic; no file or test is named in the issue. Compare the current per-localization maximum normalization with integrated-intensity scaling, then clarify which behavior is expected and add coverage showing that the final plotted image preserves the chosen intensity semantics.
