Description
Hi
I have an issue concerning refreshing in Rider. I have read the other posts about auto-refresh and the issue I am having seems to be the reverse.
I am using the following:
Unity 2018.1.2f1
Rider 2018.1
Unity Plugin 2018.1.0.105
Macbook Pro i7 High Sierra
I have disabled auto refresh in Rider, which works as expected. But when I switch to Unity, let it refresh, **and then switch back to Rider** my CPU usage starts climbing and the fan starts. This happens every single time.
I assume the project is being reloaded or something along those lines when switching back to Rider.
Are there any workarounds for this? Because it's annoying to have my fan constantly making a noise in the background when making seemingly small changes.
I have also developed on a Mac Mini i5 quite a bit previously using Unity and Rider (older versions) and never had this problem.
**Edit:** The Unity Plugin also seems to be too aggressive in general. Making small changes that involve class resolvers has the same effect where my CPU climbs to about 100% and my fan starts. This never happened previously. Unless it's also related to the refresh in some way.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Reproduce the issue using Unity 2018.1.2f1, Rider 2018.1, and Unity Plugin 2018.1.0.105 by refreshing in Unity and switching back to Rider, then investigate the reload or class-resolver work involved. Done means the reported CPU spike no longer occurs after refresh or small class-related changes.
