Question: Why Maintainer Role is required?

Hi all,
I'm just trying out the integration of Junie in our Gitlab environment and asking myself why does Junie requires a maintainer role? Wouldn't it be sufficient enough when Junie receives only a developer role as developers can clone, create mrs and comment them?

It feels not secure to have an AI Tool on a Gitlab instance with maintainer role which could for example also delete a project.
