Description
HI, @JedWatson, @thezanke @spahow are you?
I'm facing an issue with city search via
const apiUrl = https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search?q=${encodeURIComponent(
searchTerm
)}&format=jsonv2&addressdetails=1;
I'm getting search data when I search via different language cities like Köln, München, and Parigi. It's also added to the options. But don't know why it's not showing in react-select. I think the react-select input box text does not match the city result. Because when I get the search results it's in English like if I search with Köln then the search result is in Cologne. Can you please let me know how can I ignore the input and search result check option in react-select so the result shows in the search dropdown? English city working fine.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the react-select city search with Köln, München, and Parigi using the shown Nominatim URL, then inspect how the returned options are passed to the dropdown and filtered. Done means non-English city searches display their matching results in the dropdown, while the existing English-city behavior remains working.
