Keydown events not working on custom Control Component

Description
I am trying to use my own editor(Tiptap editor) as the custom editor for the control component. Doing so pressing the space bar selects the first option, backspace key doesn't delete characters and pressing enter on an option doesn't select the option. Is there any solution for this?
