Description

https://codesandbox.io/s/spring-cache-2fkedh?file=/src/App.js (react-select 5.5.2)

  • If I select a value on desktop (Mac Chrome) only the onChange callback is called.
  • If I select a value on mobile (Android Chrome) both onChange and onBlur callbacks are called.

My expectation would be that only onChange would be called.

Research direction

Start with the linked CodeSandbox reproduction and compare react-select 5.5.2 behavior on desktop Chrome and Android Chrome. Trace the interaction path that invokes onChange and onBlur during mobile selection. Done means selecting a value on mobile matches the expected callback behavior without regressing desktop selection.
