Description

There's no way of knowing if that component is focused in css, because it:

  1. does not use real DOM :focus
  2. does not change classname when 'focused'.

Making it rather hard to change background color in css.

Research direction

Start by locating the multi-value__remove implementation and its focus handling. Check how the focused state is represented in the rendered class names and identify the existing tests for this component. Done means CSS can distinguish the focused remove control through its class name.
