Callback onmessage does not pick up any data

Browser version works fine, even across different browsers.

Mobile version is able to send data to the server, however, does not pick up incoming messages. Any help to debug/resolve the issue is appreciated.

I am currently testing on android 7 using the samples in this repo.

Start with the repository's samples and reproduce the issue on Android 7, comparing the mobile WebSocket receive path with the browser behavior. Trace where incoming data should reach the onmessage callback; done means incoming server messages are received by the mobile sample, with the behavior verified on Android 7.
