some times, when coming back to the app, images are distorted

See this example where some (top 3, not all, interestingly) images in a list get distorted.

one can get rid of the artifacts by scrolling down and then up.

this is not too easy to reproduce yet, but i see it upon returning back to the app after a little while, typically after going to sleep.

Start by reviewing the linked screenshot and trying to reproduce the distortion after returning to the app from sleep or backgrounding, then scroll down and back up to compare the artifacts. Done means the affected images no longer render distorted after returning to the app, and scrolling is not required to fix them.
