Description
In one of my views, I'm doing a transition to a view that corresponds to the second item in the footer tabs. However, the view renders and the first tab item appears selected.
I'm hesitant to call this a bug because it might be out of scope for what Jasonette can/should do. Indeed one of the reasons I'm doing this is due to the absence of a global key:value store (which we've talked about); but I think it's legitimate to expect that these sorts of transition should land on the correct footer tab.
@gliechtenstein let me know if you want me to make a simple test example.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing a transition to the second footer-tab view and determine whether the selected-tab state changes; done means the destination view selects its corresponding footer tab, or the issue is clarified as out of scope.
