Add cleaner support for alternative names and emails

Right now, to add alternative name spelling or emails, we have to add a separate record for each person. `make stats` has been updated to only count unique GitHub user ids, so it's not a problem, but we should have a nicer/cleaner way of specifying that those alternative names / emails all belong to the same person.
