Description

The documentation at: https://docs.janusgraph.org/operations/server/#http-basic-authentication seems to realize the value of simple command to test 'connection', and so it shows the command when using http endpoint. I'm looking for the same idea but when using a websocket endpoint.

Websocket are usually tested or even used by script by using a utility called 'websocat', kind of the equivalent of curl.

Research direction

Start at the linked JanusGraph server documentation section on HTTP Basic Authentication and compare its curl example with the websocket endpoint guidance. Add a websocat command that demonstrates testing or connecting to the websocket endpoint, so the documentation provides the equivalent practical example.
