Description

Currently i am facing a very strange issue like,

My project is giving me error for this
Could not resolve com.jakewharton.timber:timber:5.0.1.

Possible solution:
- Declare repository providing the artifact, see the documentation at https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/declaring_repositories.html
-

Although it works good for 4.7.1

Repo: https://github.com/TheReprator/AndroidTemplate/tree/timberIssue

Start with the linked AndroidTemplate timberIssue branch and the Gradle repository documentation referenced in the report. Compare resolution of com.jakewharton.timber:timber:5.0.1 with 4.7.1, then determine whether the issue is in Timber publication or the example project's dependency configuration. Done means the cause is identified and a reproducible fix or clear configuration guidance is recorded.
