Checked with the latest development build
- I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
- I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Based on the discussion https://discourse.jabref.org/t/customize-export-format-in-jabref/3615/5 (and following), it looks like field names containing a dash (like label-endnote) create some trouble in the export filters: much like if the dash was an active character.
If this is a feature, it should be documented in https://docs.jabref.org/collaborative-work/export/customexports.
Otherwise, it is a bug. ;-)

Research direction
Read the linked Discourse discussion and the custom export documentation page, then check the reported behavior in the latest development build. Determine whether hyphenated field names are supported or need explanation; done means the behavior is unambiguous in the documentation and matches the observed behavior.
