Description

Already present since 3.8 or so.

Specify a file directory pattern. Allows grouping of literature (linked files) by type or any other pattern
JabRef will move files according to that pattern and create directories for that,.
e.g. a file dir pattern of entrytype will result in folders: article, book, etc... with the linked files of all article bibtex entries.

Pattern syntax is same as bibtexkeypatterns

Research direction

Start at Preferences → Import and locate the existing help page for the file directory pattern. Document what the pattern does, how it groups linked files, the resulting folders, and that its syntax matches bibtexkeypatterns, using the entrytype example as a check for completeness.
