Transforming types of loop condition in 'for' crashes ironpython

Using int(), str(), to transform the type of loop condition causes crashes in ironpython. See the following test.py.

Start by reproducing the crash with the supplied test.py under the reported IronPython debug build and inspect the ConsoleHost stack trace. Trace how the for-loop target expression is handled, then add or update coverage so this input produces a normal Python-level result instead of aborting.
