Description
IronPython 2 implements ICustomTypeDescriptor on OldClass (but not PythonType). Noticed this when enabling test_cliclass (https://github.com/IronLanguages/ironpython3/pull/1053). Would there be any value in implementing this on PythonType?

Research direction
Start by comparing IronPython 2's ICustomTypeDescriptor implementation on OldClass with the current PythonType behavior. Review the test_cliclass context and pull request 1053, then determine whether PythonType needs the interface and what observable behavior would establish the change as complete.
