### Context

When using the search field in the Proposal Discussion Forum section, especially on mobile devices:

- Typing into the search input is laggy and not responsive.
- Text input from the mobile keyboard appears with a noticeable delay (sometimes after a second or more).
- This negatively impacts user experience and makes searching frustrating.

### Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Proposal Discussion Forum section on a mobile device.
2. Focus on the search input field.
3. Begin typing a search keyword.
4. Observe the delay between typing and characters appearing.

### Actual behavior

- Input text appears slowly, with a delay after each keystroke.
- The search field feels unresponsive and lags behind user input.

### Expected behavior

- Text should appear immediately as the user types.
- The search field should be smooth and responsive with no noticeable lag.
