Description

TransIP has increased prices over the years, to a point that it becomes worth the effort to move our domains to a cheaper registrar.

We should also update our contact details on the domains, as some old details are still there.

Personally I use mijn.host and I'm pretty happy with them. Price differences (excluding VAT):

.nl € 16,50 -> € 4,99
.net € 27,50 -> € 14,99
.me € 29,99 -> € 18,99
.at € 44,50 -> € 11,99

NL domains can be moved without losing the current expiry date, but to maximize savings, non-NL domains should be moved close to their expiration dates.

Research direction

Review the domain checklist and the registrar price and expiry details in the issue, starting with the remaining ioviv.at entry. Confirm the migration timing for each non-NL domain and the required contact-detail updates; done means every listed domain is at the cheaper registrar with current contact details and the checklist is complete.
