Description

Found this project online, a lightweight LDAP server.

https://github.com/lldap/lldap

Seeing that we are using less and less Windows stuff, the only main thing being our Active Directory server hosting all of the active members accounts, we should be able to migrate off of using AD and move to just regular LDAP.

LLDAP supports integrating with Keycloak, and also Linux authentication, which would allow us to keep using active members users for login into our servers via SSSD.

Want to setup a Proof-of-Concept that shows if LLDAP can work as a replacement for us.
