Search - Events do not update after the searched query is cleared

The event list obtained after a search does not update if the text box is cleared. After emptying the textbox, the user should click on the search button again for the entire list of original items to appear.

No file, test, or entry point is named. Reproduce the search flow by entering a query, searching, clearing the textbox, and searching again; then trace the event-list update path. Done means clearing the query and activating search restores the complete original event list.
