Tests

Are the current tests robust enough to ensure adequate ML training. Currently, we check data loading, preprocessing, one train loop and final outputs for entire main.py.

Start by reviewing main.py and the current tests to understand the existing checks for data loading, preprocessing, one training loop, and final outputs. Define which additional training behaviors need coverage and consider the test suite complete when it robustly verifies the ML training workflow beyond those current checks.
