Description

A common use of this program is to optimize an image as much as possible without losing any information. Since repeating the optimization process can sometimes result in further compression, I think there should be an option to automatically re-optimize each file until no gains are made.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing the existing image optimization workflow in the Mac GUI and determine how completion and compression gains are detected; done means an option repeatedly optimizes each file until another pass produces no further gain, without losing information.
