Investiagate component editing and schema

A recent support call from LET was due to them being unable to change configs due to there base component being invalid.
This was caused by them having enterred 1e-06 into it which according to our schema is invalid.
We should look into how they enterred this, and either make our checks there stricter so that it is not possible in future, or make our schema less strict so that 1e-06 is no longer considered to be invalid.
