Scripting: Typeahead buffer

As a user of the scripting console, I would like a typeahead buffer so I can continue to type while operations and scripts are running.

## Acceptance criteria:

- [ ] When an operation is running in the scripting console I can type and it will be put into the typeahead buffer and then written out once the operation is complete.

## Notes:

- This is particularly desired by the muon group
