GUI: DAE properties not kept in sync with instrument

Description
As an instrument scientists on HRPD I found this:
1. On HRPD click on DAE perspective
1. Click away without any changes
1. Error pop up claiming changes have been made appears.
This is a bigger issue see discussion below the GUI does not keep it properties synced to the instrument.
