Description

The Community Meetings page at https://dataverse.org/events lists the sites of past Dataverse Community Meetings, where people can see the agendas and presenter slides. For most of these meetings, we used OSF public projects to organize and share the slides by posting links to the OSF projects on each year's DCM site.

The folks at OSF announced in early August that they're changing their platform, including:

  • Not letting people create new projects, starting on November 16, 2026
  • Making all OSF projects read-only, starting on February 19, 2027

So that people can continue to get previous DCM slides by going to our existing OSF projects, we at least need to make changes to the following DCM sites:

I looked at the other DCM sites and was able to get slides for each year's meeting, except for the 2026 site, since the organizers are working out how to share the slides for last May's meeting. I don't think slides for the 2026 meeting have been added to an OSF project yet, and I'm not sure if that's how the organizers plan to share them.
