Description

Why were you looking at this?
Don't ask ;-)
What steps does it take to reproduce the issue?
In testing other updates related to guestbooks, I noticed that, with a store configured to use Globus with S3, which includes both Globus Transfer and download (via S3) options for a file, if I click Globus transfer, fill out the guestbook, and get redirected to the app (which I don't currently have installed), if I then go back and try to download the file, the guestbook pops up and redirects me to the globus app.

If I refresh the page, and click download a file first, it all works. My guess is that the guestbook popup is not being refreshed once it's created (or the globus transfer click refreshes it but the original download click doesn't).

Seems to also occur with bulk downloads

Help is always welcome, is this bug something you or your organization plan to fix?
I wanted to capture the issue since I saw it, but I don't think this should be prioritized unless it's seen in the wild/some community member needs it. I have no immediate plans.

Research direction

The report names no files, tests, or entry points. Reproduce the flow with Globus Transfer and S3 download enabled, including bulk downloads, then identify the guestbook interaction entry point. Done means downloading after a transfer attempt opens the correct download flow instead of redirecting to the Globus app.
