Description
Overview of the Feature Request
When the user adds a contributor name but does not choose a contributor type, the OpenAIRE/oai_datacite export should use "Other" as the contributorType, as the DataCite/Datacite export already does. Currently, the OpenAIRE/oai_datacite export omits contributorType in this case.
This issue is part of a larger effort to align both metadata exports, described in https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/11916 and https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/12281.
What kind of user is the feature intended for?
API User, Superuser, and Sysadmin
What inspired the request?
This is part of a larger effort to align the OpenAIRE/oai_datacite and DataCite/Datacite metadata exports. There is more context at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/11916 and https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/12281.
What existing behavior do you want changed?
Currently, when the user adds a contributor name but does not choose a contributor type, the DataCite/Datacite export defaults contributorType to "Other". For example:
<contributor
contributorType="Other">
<contributorName
nameType="Personal">Name with no Contributor Type chosen
</contributorName>
</contributor>
The OpenAIRE/oai_datacite export omits contributorType entirely in this case. For example:
<contributor>
<contributorName>Name with no Contributor Type chosen</contributorName>
</contributor>
The OpenAIRE/oai_datacite export should be changed to default contributorType to "Other" when the user does not choose a contributor type, matching the behavior of the DataCite/Datacite export.

Research direction
Start by comparing the OpenAIRE/oai_datacite export with the DataCite/Datacite export, focusing on contributor output when no contributor type is selected. Confirm the resulting XML includes contributorType="Other" and matches the existing DataCite behavior.
