Description
During the hackathon at the 2025 community meeting @lubitchv and I pushed a couple commits to https://github.com/gdcc/exporter-ddipdf to try to get it published to Maven Central but it didn't "just work".
We should take another run at this but I think we might be blocked by this issue:
- #11512
I'm going to give this a size of 3 once the blocker has been removed and we have an up-to-date pattern to follow.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the two linked commits in the exporter-ddipdf repository and the blocking issue #11512. Follow the up-to-date Maven Central publishing pattern once the blocker is resolved; done means exporter-ddipdf is published to Maven Central.
