bug: cannot add template sources when using the maven plugin

How does one add template sources to the spoon template path when using the spoon maven plugin?

I am trying to build a project using spoon template processing, however I continually get an error saying that my template class is not part of the model and that I need to add it to the template sources, however there is no obvious way to do this. Please advise.
