Description
Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) is an investigatory topic that emerged from the PoCSpec project to address a number of "localization" issues. Most medical device vendors support this capability today; however, it is not clear how much it is used or still needed by the market.
Notes:
- Cybersecurity must be managed carefully
- Not mandatory for the SDPi-P profile
