Image not resolved from URL

I uploaded a series of URL links to jpegs on S3 in a csv file as a new project.

I chose the OCR template. Noting that created a new label (entire line). When I press save, the region I created is not saved.

Then when I go back to the project, the images still display in the project form column as a URL text field. They do not resolve as thumbnail images and Label Studio does not recognize them as images and I am not able to label anything
