Description

I'm testing this version of Tella with an ODK server (eu.kobotoolbox.org) where I made a short form with 3 questions, one of them a range question (1-10).
Tested on two devices (Android version 13) e/OS and one with Samsung Stock OS.
I can connect to the server and the form shows up, forms without range based questions work.

Expected behavior

Be able to fill out a form containing a range based question after clicking on it or after using the breadcrumb menu to select "fill form".

Actual behavior

Nothing happens / the menu closes again. As far as I can tell, other features (audio recording, camera) work.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. On an ODK server (e.g. kobotoolbox) create a form with a range based question (1 to 10, step 1)
  2. Connect to the ODK server with the form in tella
  3. Try to fill the form in Tella

Additional information

I first thought this was a tella related bug because of e/OS before I tested on the second device. This might also be a kobotoolbox bug - let me know if I should crosspost this.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue with an ODK form containing a 1–10 range question on the form-fill flow, both by clicking the form and through the breadcrumb menu. Trace where the range question is loaded or selected, then verify that the form opens and the range question can be filled on Android without breaking the other reported features.
