Description
There have been many performance improvements in LCMS2 vs 1.1.9, it would be interesting to see if there are performance improvements to be gained from using a different library version.
I have built PandaPDF against LCMS2 before, but I remember having more problems with some documents that had complex artwork, unfortunately I don't have the test cases to hand any more so I can't create any public test case.
See: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/poppler/2015-December/011611.html for more info, apparently upto 30% of time is spent in LCMS doing colour conversion.
It might be worth looking into Poppler to see if can have an option avoid LCMS if possible, however this is an unrelated issue.
