Make compacting a database easier for our ESS team (and customers?)

Just an idea… if we regularly need to compact databases as a part of routine maintenance, and this needs to be a human invoked thing, let’s make that easy and foolproof in the UI.

So that may look like… being able to create backups, and restore backups? Being able to specify the different compaction options… what else?
