## Request
Enhance replication to support bidirectional connections where the subscribing client shares an expiring secret with the server. The server uses this secret to verify the reverse connection back to the client, eliminating the current DNS-based trust model.
This resolves several DNS-related replication drawbacks and improves security for clusters behind NAT/dynamic DNS.
