Description

Hello there! I would like to make a request to add blind accessibility options for Lighthouse. I can list some options below.

First, i think it would be good to have text to speech support for game text such as menu items and dialogue.
Srecond, i would think some form of detection for where ledges are like using controler vibrations or similar.
Third, we would need some way to determine where platforms are with some sound.
Fourth, things like mole hills would require a audio cue to find where they are located.
Fifth, things such as ladders, vines and climbable surfaces would need some audio cue.
Sixth, things such as notes, jigsaw pieces, mumbo tokens etc would need some form of audio to find them.

I am not sure about how flying would be handled, but we could find some way for that.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by surveying Lighthouse's existing game-text, controller-vibration, audio, flying, and collectible or terrain handling, then define a scoped accessibility plan and acceptance criteria for the requested cues and text-to-speech support.
