SpatiaLite connector

Would be great to extend franchise by Spatial SQL capabilities adding SpatiaLite connector. After a first look on the code I see that I have to extend https://github.com/HVF/franchise/blob/master/src/db/configure.js by a new Database element called _SpatiaLiteConnector_. I thought on using https://github.com/zhm/node-spatialite, even it seems a little bit outdated, but I can't find a better one. Anybody thoughts on that?
