Request project stance on rust based reimplementations

I'm am having people talk about switching from hdf5 to rust based reimplementations of hdf5 and for hdf5's dependencies. It might be good to have a statement in the hdf5 code base about the hdf5 maintainers' view of these projects. I know of these, but do not know anything about them beyond their existence.
