Description
At the HDF5 Working Group meeting on [2025-06-12](https://github.com/HDFGroup/hdf5/wiki/2025#2025-06-12) the proposal to make zlib-ng the default build option for the DEFLATE filter was supported **only** if this functionality does not require installing the zlib-ng library.
