Description
I'm not familiar with the PyPi process so I'm unable to provide too much more help with a pull request, but the PyPi repo is still pointing at 1.3.0, which still has the Numpy 2.0 integration issues.

Research direction
Start by checking the PyPI project metadata and the repository's release process to identify why version 1.3.0 is still published. Confirm which release contains the NumPy 2.0 integration fix, publish or point PyPI to that release, and verify that PyPI no longer serves 1.3.0 as the current version.
