Can't start on desktop

Description
I am using Arch where gnome version is 3.22 and guake version is 0.8.7 in the repo. Besides, my toggle shortcut is F10. However, when I press F10 in desktop which means the desktop is on the top positon, guake doesn't appear. When I open any other software which means the desktop is not on the top, F10 make guake start normally...I don't know why. And there is a white side which I can't eliminate on the top of my guake terminal, how can I cancel the white side?
