Stream aliases

It would be awesome to have aliasing available for stream ids, or be able to ask API using stream name instead of stream ID.

To give a bit more light on the issue. We're using opsviews option to generate multiple checks based on atribute. Stream ID is fine but when the notification comes it's a bit unclear which stream is reporting.

or maybe you know a better way to deal with that?
