Drag&drop not working in latest version

Description
Using GrapesJS 0.16.34 and the grapesjs-touch plugin doesn't work as expected, esp. drag&drop of blocks into the editor:

Environment:
Google Chrome 88 (latest)
Web console opened with device in "responsive" mode
In the demo at grapesjs.com it works without problems. What could be the cause?
