Recurring tasks with a due date relative to the done date of the previous instance

I quite often want to do something not in fixed intervals but relative to when I last did it. For example, if I want to water my plants every week and I didn't get to it until five days after the due date, I don't want to water them twice in 2 days but 7 days after I last did it. Is there a way to set this up?
