UI shows commits header as "missing" for knative-testgrid

The jobs seem to be running fine with the commits. The commit at least is reported in the build log. However, The UI shows that the commit is missing (see attached).
Ideally, there would be no "missing" status, unless there was an actual problem where the commit is not being pulled in.
