Description
Once I got through the obvious problems in the run.py script, I was able to run it. The execution overwhelmed Cloud Shell and rendered it unavailable. Tensorflow complained several times about the processor make before the shell died. About a gig of data did flow to a temp file under the specified /transform directory in the target bucket. That was it.
Also Python 2

Research direction
Start by reviewing run.py and the reported Cloud Shell execution, including the temporary data written under /transform in the target bucket. Reproduce the failure only in a controlled environment; done means the Cloud Shell behavior and Python 2/TensorFlow compatibility status are clearly resolved.
