Description

I'm trying to transfer files located in a google cloud bucket to my virtual machine. The `gsutil` command below (see screenshot) used to work a few weeks ago, but for some reason it's not working anymore.

Do you have any idea for why this is happening?

PS: I've looked at several github / stackoverflow issues and it looks like this is a google server issue? I've added the top-level -D flag to show more details, and I get the error "Unable to find the server at storage.googleapis.com"

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported gsutil command from the linked screenshot and inspect its -D output. Check whether the failure is reproducible in gsutil or specific to the reported machine's network and DNS environment. Done means identifying a confirmed cause and a clearly scoped fix or documented resolution; the issue names no source file or test.
