Maintain and update the package :)

This seems to be a dependency for [Vertex AI HPT jobs](url) and it's really seldomly maintained :)

- Upgrade python version
- Support multi gpus (The HyperTune constructor will fail in multi gpu layout since it will fail on os directoy recreation of the same path)
- etc..

No files or tests are named. Start at the HyperTune constructor and inspect the package's dependency and Python-version configuration, then reproduce the multi-GPU failure caused by recreating the same path; done would require an agreed scope covering the Python upgrade and multi-GPU support.
